Indonesian football requires technical training for children. On Saturday, October 12, 2013, Indonesia's legendary Bob Hippy issued a statement. A friend of Bob Hippy's, Tom Byer, hosted a coaching workshop. The coaching clinic was held at Soemantri Brodjonegoro Stadium in South Jakarta.
Bob stated that technique will be vital for the young players' future. "If they master it, it will boost their confidence on the pitch," remarked a State University of New York, United States, alumnus. Youth football coaches should teach technical skills to children aged 5 to 12. Bob remarked that changing a 13-year-old athlete would be difficult.
